"Fear builds walls"

To me analyzing this following statement “Fear builds walls” is a very hard thing to do because I don’t really know if I’m right. To me I think it could mean many different things in different ways. Being in fear of something is being scared to do that one thing because of someone in the way. There are a few ways I think this statement could mean but one way I think it could mean is afraid to fall in love. When this happens you’re scared to love someone because you don’t want to get hurt, by, them not loving you back in the same way. Many people go through this because the one they love don’t really want anything to do with them. I think when you give someone you’re everything you want to make sure they’ll give it back or you will pay for bad consequences. Another way I think is possible and also describes this statement is that if you are in fear, or scared to do something you will automatically step back, and think about it. Then you will not do it because you’re scared of getting hurt, declined, etc. Maybe you think you will fail at it because you’re not good enough. To me when you think you’re not good enough for something, I think that’s ridiculous. Being scared of something shouldn’t let you back out of something you would like to do. I think everyone should go for something even if they’re scared. If we weren’t allowed to ever be scared, that just wouldn’t make sense.

Favorite Holiday

What is your favorite holiday? When asked this question I have a few favorite holidays but my favorite would have to be Christmas, the day Jesus was born. For every single person Christmas is usually the happiest day ever. In fact, kids love this day because their parents aka Santa Claus brings them presents that they have put on their wish list. I remember as a kid I could never go to bed because I always wanted to see what Santa Claus looked like and I couldn’t wait to see him bring me my presents on his sleigh. Christmas is a happy day for mostly everyone because you give and receive presents that you have wished for. On Christmas day usually my brother wakes up, then my sister and then me and after that we all go wake up my mom. Usually my dad works the night of Christmas Eve so he comes home at seven o clock in the morning of Christmas. That’s why it’s kind of pointless to wake up before if we know we can’t open our presents, yet. The only things we can do are sit there and stare. Also another thing I absolutely love about Christmas is every year we go to my grandparents after opening our presents to eat breakfast. All day we stay there, so usually my family and my grandparents have leftovers from breakfast, for lunch. Then for dinner time my cousins, my aunt, and my uncle that I usually never see come over and eat with us. After we are all done eating we will open presents with them and see the little guys run around and play with their toys. Christmas is also a fun time because you see smiles all over the place and happy people singing to the holiday cheer.

Winner

What is winning? What does winning mean to you? What does it mean to be a winner? As these questions run through my head; I am thinking of how in sports if you win every game you’re a winner. Also if you’re sport team wins every single game of the season, you’re obviously a winning team that’s hard to beat. Winning, to me is showing up every game and showing everyone how you play and get things done. Even if you lost your team maybe still played a great game and maybe not have won, but are still winners in the heart. To me when I play soccer, yeah we might have lost, but when my teammates and I play our heart out, that to me is winning. Some other people might think different but to me I believe winning is playing your heart out and giving everything you got. I also think it’s just a victory to be playing a sport that I love. When I play soccer I have so much fun running after a ball, passing and trying to score. Especially having fun playing the sport you love with fun girls. On my travel soccer team we all have so much fun! Even if we are down some goals, we still try to catch up by playing our hearts out. A lot of people think winning is just about ending a game with a victory. Yes, that is true but it also means having the ability to play the sport and show everyone what you’re made of. To me that is winning. Also to me winning is just a word that expresses the end of a game. You can either win or lose but in the end everyone is still a winner by playing the sport you love.

Thankful

There are many things i am thankful for, one in particular is my family. Through thick and thin your family will always be the ones by your side. Indeed that is my family. Even though sometimes they might bother and annoy me I still love them all, a lot. My parents probably are the reason I am the person, I am today. Yes they did have me, so my looks are from them but my personality and being responsible is from them. They raised me well and taught me how to be polite to others, and all around nice. My mom always tells me to smile, it can always make someone’s day. My family is one of the reasons I can get through a rough day. Another thing I am thankful for is being able to see and walk. So many people can’t see or can’t walk on their own. When I see people like this my heart breaks and I want to give them my feet or eyeballs. So many people have to live with this and it has to suck, my heart is with them. Another thing I am thankful for is my hands. Every day I use my hands, for doing my hair, putting on my make-up. Basically everything I can do I have to use my hands for. If I did not have a hand with fingers I do not know how I could live. Another thing I am thankful for is my friends. If my friends weren’t there for me, I would probably be lost. My friends are always there for me and I am very thankful for that. When I’m down they will bring me up, if they are down I will bring them right back up. Having a best friend is what every girl needs and wants. I am very thankful for the girls I call my best friends. Overall I am very thankful for being alive.

Quotes

There are many quotes that I love but three in particular are: We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give. -- Winston Churchill This quote is one of my favorites because it’s so true. Every day you work to make/earn money to support yourself and family. But in reality that can just make you depressed thinking about always working and never having fun. That’s why you have to give in order to take. Enjoy your life and everything will fall into place. Another quote that I love a lot is: If you can dream it, you can do it! – Walt Disney This quote is also one of my favorites because if you can have the ability to think about it you should have the ability to put it into action. I believe that when you strive for something you want, you should go get it. I think you should never let anyone tell you that you’re not capable of doing it. This quote is one of my favorites that I go by. Another quote that I go by and love would be Life is meaningless only if we allow it to be. Each of us has the power to give life meaning, to make our time and our bodies and our words into instruments of love and hope.—Tom Head This quote is also one of my favorites because it’s so true what you give into your life is what you will get out of it. If you’re going to sit there and not do anything or achieve anything, then you will get nothing in return. This quote is very powerful and will always be one of my favorites.

11/8-11/12 Lunch

If I could have lunch with three people living they would be Daniel Paille, Carrie Underwood, and Rascal Flatts. The reason on why I chose Daniel Paille is because he has always been a crush of mine as a kid and is extremely hot. When Daniel Paille played for the sabres I watched every single game, and would not miss one. Since he has left I would work over watching the games. Daniel Paille is the true definition of working hard and never giving up. I admire him because of that. Overall, meeting Danny would be a dream come true! Another person I would choose to have lunch with is Carrie Underwood. Carrie has an amazing voice and a lot of talent, and she is very pretty. Carrie also recently married Mike Fisher of the Ottawa Senators. When I was little my grandma would always take us five grandchildren to a few of her concerts. We always would walk away singing to her music. I remember before she got really famous we went to one of her very first concerts. I’ll never forget my mom saying “Remember guys you can always tell everyone you saw her before she became very famous”. Carrie Underwood has amazing talent and it would be so cool to meet her! Another person I would chose to eat lunch with is any member of Rascal Flatts. The way they perform on stage and all the graphics they provide to go with their music, is fantastic. Every member from Rascal Flatts always plays their hearts out on stage and at the end of the night you wish it was just starting. Meeting Rascal Flatts would be pretty cool.

11/8-11/12 Thanksgiving Tradition

One holiday that my family and I love very much would be thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time where my whole family including my mom’s side and my grandparents on my dad’s side get together to have a huge dinner. The best part about thanksgiving is eating so much with your family and just having fun. Since my mom is such a good cook every night the food is always so good but at thanksgiving you get a variety of foods to choose from. Some of the foods my mom makes are corn bread, which is so good, mashed potatoes which are incredibly delicious, and sweet potatoes which are fantastic. Every year we either go to my grandmas on my mom’s side or go to my house. This year my mom picked to have it at my house. Usually my mom will bake about three or four pies consisting of pumpkin, peanut butter, and apple. The whole family’s favorite is usually pumpkin or apple, I would have to say peanut butter or pumpkin is my favorite. The other best part of thanksgiving is hanging out with my cousins who are the same age as me and my sister. Even though I do see Jaimie in school, I don’t really get to talk or hang out with her cause we are too busy doing school work and not in the same class as each other. Plus her sister, jess I never see either. Overall, spending quality and much needed time with them is absolutely amazing. Thanksgiving is a great way to say thanks and spend as much time as possible with the family!

Respect

What is Respect? Well Respect to me and probably many others is obeying the Adult you’re talking to and treating them with consideration, honor. Everyone on this earth deserves respect in my book, but not everyone does get it in return. Some people think they don’t need to respect others because they don’t either. For people who think like that, maybe should look up Respect. A lot of times I hear moms tell their children to respect their teachers and treat your school mates how you would want to be treated. Sometimes my mom even tells me to respect my teachers and adults who are talking to me. When she tells me this kind of stuff; I know she is saying don’t talk back or talk when they are talking. One time I did hear an adult tell me that when you respect someone it’s telling them you love them. I would have to agree with this because you’re telling them you can listen and obey the rules. All parents want their kids to respect adults because one day they are going to ask their kids to respect them, too. Some days I will see other kids pick or torture another school mate of theirs. When I see this I wonder if parents yell at their kids, or just let them act disrespectful. Maybe the kids even disrespect their parents because they let their children boss them around. Parents who think like this should get it together and be strict on their kids. Most people are starting to lose their Respect.

Music Star

If i had to choose what my dream job would be, i would pick being a music star because that would be so much fun and so cool to see people blast your music! Being in a band full of my friends, singing your heart out and making money by albums and concerts would be great. Another reason why this job would be so much fun is because every time I’m at a concert I get chills in my stomach because their always so much fun, and it makes me get pumped up. Another reason this job is so much fun is because everybody in the crowd is so happy and smiling/singing to your music. Especially being in front of a huge crowd singing your heart out, and seeing people sing your music back to you has to be a great feeling! If I had a good voice of course I would like to sing, but since I don’t I would never sing in front of a huge crowd. Watching the singers, sing their heart out and get into their music is so exciting. Every summer I always get so excited to see what concerts will be in store for the summer. The best part of the concerts are going with your friends and singing together all the music that is blasting from the speakers. Everywhere I look I see people dancing, bobbing their heads, or even screaming the music out loud together with their friends. Being a music star would be such an amazing time!
